The largest percentage of Illinois revenue comes from property taxes. Revenue is properly defined in terms of a state as a means by which that particular state stays funded. States use their sources of revenues for things such as new roads, new parks, new buildings, and better schools.

Property tax in Illinois Revenue is 57% of the form of money that the state uses in order to fund schools and other projects that keep the state basically running. Without the money that comes into the states by different means, it would not be able to fund some of its programs. This would inadvertently mean the state would have to ask for Government assistance, and seeing the standings on what is already being done with the Government funds it would take a while to get it approved. Education has always been a big subject for the United States. It is on states discretion to find out ways to fund education. Therefore, they try to pull money from different things that go on in the state, in hopes of getting education taken care of.

Everyone knows that the same fights that we were facing with education in the past still hold true today. Teachers do not make enough for the job that they have to succumb to, which is why a big majority of our school districts are understaffed. And, students are being subject to inadequate learning environments. If you are uncertain about what any of this means, lets evaluate this a little further. It seems like almost every year, the standards of education are raised. It is up to school boards as well as presiding state leaders to ensure that our children are equipped with all the necessary materials that they need in order to follow through with the change.

However, many schools often times fall short of funds to be able to get students the necessary things such as textbooks and other learning aides to help them understand the subjects that are being taught. High class, private schools are normally the first to receive any new information that may have leaked out into the district. The reason for this, is because parents who send their children to private schools have to submit payment in order to keep their children attending. The payment covers everything that they need to be able to maintain a higher standard of education. However, everyone is free to have an education, and is required to do so. But, schools that are considered to be of lower class are often times kept out of the mix of new information as well as new school books.

This is where Illinois Revenue truly comes in and takes precedence over the system. They believe that just because a child is going to a free public school they should be given the same options to be able to learn just as the higher class students. In a way it is only fair to do what’s right by all of our children. So, the next time you ask where your taxes are going, look at the adorable faces of your children and be proud that you can help.
